This Fengjia-area lounge-style diner is targeted at younger customers. All dishes are handmade and, in a switch from the usual waffles, Love One offers American-style pancakes, plus sandwiches, light meals, brunch and pasta. Add NT$59 for a set with salad and soup. A. The seasonal Strawberry Pancakes (NT$230), made with fresh strawberries, whipped cream and custard sauce, provide a great combination of tart strawberries and creamy pancakes.
B. Made the traditional Italian way, Grilled Chicken Risotto with Mixed Mushrooms and Soft Boiled Egg (NT$280) features risotto made with mushroom paste, whose aroma wonderfully complements the half-cooked egg. The smooth, creamy NT$130 Japanese Green Tea Au Lait (pictured, back) comes with separate matcha, cream and milk so that diners can mix these in preferred proportions.
C. Bowtie Shaped Honey Toast (NT$280) is a very creative, delicious dish that includes whipped cream and maple syrup. The Double Berries Yogurt Smoothie (NT$150) adds a fun twist to this meal. |
