Soup has become one of the latest dining fads in Tokyo, and this eatery now allows Taichung diners to follow suit. God Soup has adjusted its flavors to cater to Taiwanese diners and only uses locally-grown organic vegetables that have COAA and TOAF certificates, including broccoli, onions, pumpkins, potatoes and beefsteak tomatoes. Even the milk used in the soups is very high-quality and from a local farm. These fresh, organic ingredients certainly help make the fare here healthier and tastier. --By Niang Chen, translated by Angel Pu
A. All soups (a la carte NT$70-90) are cooked with clams stock with vegetables and milk. The natural sweetness of the natural ingredients makes every drop delicious.
B. Set "C" (NT$175) includes any NT$70 soup, two NT$50 items, such as Fried Chicken or Cream Sauce Bread Gratin, and a NT$20 drink like black tea. Diners make up for the price difference if they include any pricier menu items.
C. This BeiPing Road restaurant offers a bright, stylish and comfortable setting.
