A passion for American dining and years of research and preparation have seen this partnership between owners Betty and Cora come to fruition with the grand opening of their store. The authentic American-style food offered here is made with high-quality ingredients but offered for reasonable prices, and various house-blend beverages also worth checking out. Those who are into Western dishes should stop by and try out offerings from the new owners, who provide the latest restaurant updates on their Facebook site. --By Natasha, translated by Andy Tsao
A. This cafe is decorated in yellows, whites and browns, giving it the kind of uplifting, bright mood that most diners enjoy. The store's front area provides a more scenic view and has a more European feel to it.
B. While having a burger normally seems like a mundane experience, there are impressive options here, such as the Popeye Burger (NT$250). As its name alone suggests, this giant-sized burger has enough to satisfy the hungriest of patrons, and consists of a seven-ounce all-beef patty, bacon, spinach, American-style green salad leaves, tomatoes, red onions and pickles. However, don't be intimidated by this burger's size; once you start, you'll won't be able to stop until you suddenly realize it's gone. Many customers return for the famous beef patties here, and remember to get your money's worth with some fries and a soda.
C. Business set meals are available Tuesdays to Fridays during lunch hours, priced from NT$85 to NT$150 with free drinks included. In addition, for an extra NT$20 you can upgrade yourself to a nice cup of Italian Caffe Trombetta coffee, a truly luxurious experience.
