A number of European-style cafes have sprouted along tree-shaded TaiZhongGang Road. However, unlike its counterparts in Paris, Match Cafe is not particularly big with around 30 seats available. The interior design is simple yet unique, and the atmosphere is pretty laid-back, so that you can easily spend a whole lovely afternoon here, reading a book, sipping coffee, staring out of the window, surfing the Net or watching a non-mainstream movie. Caffeine-free Caramel Cocoa or Bali Fruit Tea (NT$100) or Loho Juice (NT$120) are also served. The Tuna Sandwich (NT$60) is also thoughtfully prepared. The owners are reportedly skilled at documentary filming, and show their works here from time to time. Who knows? You might find your "Match" soulmate here. --By James Su, translated by Sho Huang
