Italian Cafe owner Mr. Liang is passionate about Italian cuisine and is the previous owner of Figaro Italian Restaurant on DaDun 17th Street. For many years, he has explored Italian cooking with famous European chefs, with the goal of providing his customers with the most authentic cuisine. Having already proven that he can do a pretty good job, he has now moved to a different location on the Art Museum (WuQuan) Parkway. The new establishment boasts an attractively-landscaped front courtyard and a pleasant indoor dining area with a well-lit, delightful atmosphere all specially thought out by the owner. When you visit this fine eatery, try their Linguine Marinara Pasta (with soup and drink, NT$200), or the Pizza Pesto Special (8-inch NT$160). Italian food is not all you will get here--try their Healthy Soup or different flavors of pot hot (starting at NT$150). They also have vegetarian meals and Chinese-style set meals (NT$90) at affordable prices for you to choose from. At the moment, Italian Cafe is promoting afternoon tea specials starting from NT$78, with a selection of pancakes, pastries and puddings, sandwiches and refillable Italian coffee. Just as good, they have unlimited wireless Internet access, so you can take your time and enjoy a relaxing afternoon here. --By Niang Chen, translated by Ann Lee
