International of Delicious Food combines
Western and Chinese ingredients to create Chinese cuisine
that is presented Western-style. The restaurant's kitchen
team actually won the Taiwan Gourmet Food Cooking Competition
and will represent Taiwan in the World Cooking Competition
next year. The executive chef also has proved his cooking
skills, grabbing the gold medal at the Beijing World
Cooking Competition.
The bright-red theme color here exudes
a strong Chinese-happiness atmosphere in the spacious,
stylishly-decorated dining area. In addition to the
main hall's big round tables, private rooms are also
available. The restaurant provides a wide range of choices--a
la carte dishes, set-menu meals and others. The Osmanthus
Set Meal (NT$580) offers choices of Japanese Salad,
Bamboo Chicken Wings, Pesto Mushroom Fish Filet, Health
Herb Osmanthus Vinegar, Thai Prawn with Special Sauce,
Mushroom with Goose Feet, Wuxi Ribs and all kinds of
desserts, from a health herb dessert to tasty fruit.
The Jasmine Set Meal (NT$780) is a bit more expensive,
including choices of entrees representing famous cuisine
from all over China, with cold dishes, seafood, fish,
meat, soup, vegetables, rice and noodles, dessert and
drinks all included.
Barbecue P-Toro Pork is cooked over
fire with honey, yeast and miso. It especially goes
well with freshly-squeezed passion fruit juice that
complements the pork's fragrance and chewy texture.
The Truffle Filet is prepared with a New Zealand filet
and red wine sauce for extra tenderness. Another entree,
Osmanthus Shark's Fin, doesn't use traditional cooking
methods but instead is prepared with liquor, eggs and
mushrooms and wrapped with lettuce. Last but not least,
exquisite desserts like Osmanthus Vinegar and Cheese
are nicely presented on classy dishware, helping increase
their mouth-watering effects.
