Taiwan's leading meat products company, Yu Guo Group, has opened up the Red Steak restaurant on Taichung Harbor Road. With their expertise in meat products and their insistence upon quality, the company guarantees only the best for its diners. Selecting the best breeds, brands and beef parts, and using their professional techniques, the restaurant imports its ingredients from overseas and has them GMP certified once they leave the container. This means they guarantee that there are no additives or artificial meat used in the restaurant. Set menus are priced between NT$490 and NT$790, and include an appetizer, soup, bread, salad, dessert and drink. The American-style restaurant features generous portions and a variety of choices. The 10-ounce Grilled American Ribeye steak has been matured at a low temperature of between zero to four degrees Celsius. When the meat has been tenderized this way, it retains its original flavor with an added sweetness. Grain-fed cattle are unable to digest certain nutrients in the corn and these are stored directly in the fat between the muscles, so the meat tastes faintly of corn. High quality and low prices mean definite customer support. To ensure your dining experience, be sure and call for a reservation, especially on weekends and holidays. A second branch will be opening soon on XiaoYang Road in Changhua, too.
