The clean, tidy dining area at this eatery allows guests to sit comfortably, enjoying their meals in a relaxed atmosphere. Steamed dumplings (jaozi), fried dumplings and soup baozi (tang bao) are the main offerings here. The eatery uses only the freshest cabbage and pork, purchased daily and sold on the same day so that there are never any leftovers. The crispy, sweet cabbage is mixed with tender, sweet pork for a delicious, juicy mouthful. The trick is to lift the dumpling gently, transfer it slowly to your lips, make a small opening, and eat it in one mouthful. Remembering this trick helps diners not to miss a single bit of this tasty treat. Steamed Dumplings are NT$40 for a steamer of 10; Fried Dumplings are NT$40 for eight; Soup Baozi are eight for NT$45; and Fresh Shrimp Steamed Dumplings are NT$60 for a steamer of 10. The restaurant also offers take-out service.
