Yong He Chun Qiu Soy Bean Milk has been in
business for over a decade and its main branch is situated
on the busy FuXing Road near Feng Chia University. The large
premises are spacious and comfortable for customers who wish
to dine in. During business hours, white clouds of steam are
seen wafting from the steaming baskets, together with the
lovely aroma of freshly-ground soybeans and freshly-steamed
meat buns. All the traditional breakfast items here are carefully
handmade, including the Brown Sugar Buns, Red Bean Paste Buns,
Xiao Long Bao, Fried Buns, Filled Pies, Fried Dumplings, and
"Shao Bing" and "You Tiao" breakfast pastries.
Not to be missed are NT$25-per-box Leek Dumplings, one of
the most popular dishes among Taiwanese. The soybean milk
is fragrant, sweet and pure, while the black bean milk is
also healthy and delicious, making it a great combination
with freshly-baked Shao Bing and You Tiao for a good start
to the day. There is also a choice of rice dishes like Sticky
Rice Balls, Fried Rice and Chinese Rice Pudding. According
to the staff, if you cannot finish everything in one sitting,
the pastries will remain crispy and delicious even after an
hour or two. |
