If you are seeking hotel-quality cuisine for
low prices, you need look no further than Shang He Wei Taiwanese-Style
Seafood Cuisine. Here, diners are greeted with a plate of
South Asian Style Spicy Peanuts as an appetizer after being
seated. A must-try is the restaurant's most popular dish,
Dry Fried Offal (NT$280), crispy, delicious fare that does
not leave a greasy aftertaste. The Stir Fried Sausage with
Mullet Roe (NT$380) and Crispy Skinned Duck (NT$420) are great
dishes to have with fragrant bowls of white rice. The owner,
also the head chef, is known to all "Ah-He" and
traveled to Japan to exchange culinary experiences with chefs
at over 80 hotels. Ah-He's superb culinary skills, combined
with the Japanese-influenced service level here help ensure
high quality. In April, the restaurant will present springtime
bamboo shoots, healthy mushroom dishes and seasonal seafood.
Lunchtime specials in April include stir-fried dishes for
only NT$79, NT$99 or NT$149 each. There are plenty of options
and delivery service is available during lunch. A NT$500 set
menu of four dishes and one soup is good enough for three
to four people and there's a free fruit plate if you place
your order before 10:30 a.m. --By Lishea Zheng, translated
