Although fM may be one of Taichung's most popular evening hang-outs, its tables also fill up with hungry customers each Sunday afternoon from noon to 4 p.m., when there's a Sunday brunch. Owner Mike Armstrong says that he started his successful brunch for a very personal reason: his love of Eggs Benedict (NT$180). Mike evidently isn't the only one with this craving, as this famous breakfast entree (Hollandaise sauce on egg, ham and muffin with potato) is a best seller at fM. Another popular item is the basic American Breakfast (NT$180), with two eggs, two strips of bacon, potatoes and a buttered muffin. Moving from one American coast to the other, there's also the Seattle Breakfast (scrambled eggs with salmon, with muffin and potatoes), NT$200 Stetson Burger (fM Burger with egg on top), and New York Breakfast (NT$200), plus the Tex-Mex style Huevos Racheros (tortilla with two eggs, salsa, ham or bacon, and refried beans).
