Situated on GongYi Road next to the Yumaoou supermarket is the new Herb Coffee House. The two-story, cylindrical-shaped architecture here is very eye-catching and the free parking service is a big draw for customers arriving in cars. With a name like Herb Coffee House, you can expect to find dishes that contain various kinds of herbs. The manager recommends the Steak with Rosemary, or the Lamb Steak with Bone (NT$260), both which emit a pleasing herbal aroma. The Lavender Chicken Pieces (NT$220) and Lemongrass Curry Seafood Pot (NT$240) are the most popular set meals here. Set meals offer a choice of Chinese or Western-style main courses and come with salad, soup and a drink. There are also special herbal mixed drinks on the menu, such as the Orange and Grapefruit Flavored Latte, Lavender Latte, Sweet Osmanthus Latte (NT$110), Wild Berry Iced Coffee, and the Black Coffee Float (NT$130). "Energy Breakfasts" (NT$120) are available between 6 and 10 a.m. and includes a salad, main course and drink. Afternoon Tea (NT$160) is available between 2 and 5 p.m. This restaurant is open 24 hours and customers may call in reservations for the VIP rooms for functions and gatherings.
