Although Kohi-Noor is located in the same place previously occupied by Gaylord Indian & Pakistani Restaurant (directly behind Splendor Hotel), this is an all-new restaurant, with the new owners creating a completely-different menu that has expanded to over a good range of Indian, Pakistani and Bangladeshi dishes. For diners looking to sample various Indian dishes for a reasonable price, Kohi-Noor offers an all-you-can-eat buffet for only NT$299 on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays between 5:30 and 10:30 p.m. This includes about 10 dishes, plus some really tasty meat or vegetable nan (bread) rolls. The regular menu includes beef/mutton/chicken barbecue (NT$60), a variety of "butter curry" meat dishes (NT$230), Biryani dishes (NT$280), beef and potato or spinach curries (NT$190), and vegetarian dishes, like the Eggplant and Potato Curry (NT$160). There is also Nan bread (NT$40), samosas, and Indian lassi yogurt drinks and milk tea. The restaurant provides for free parking at the paid-parking lot 10 meters further down the lane.
