Do not underestimate franchise-operated rotating sushi bars. Sushi Express, close to GongYi Road's Yumaowu, is no exception. The restaurant itself is bright and clean. The sushi that comes out of the restaurant is consistently top-notch and the price is reasonable. You are able to sit down at the bar and pick what you like off of the rotating track or order straight from a waitress. There are 65 different kinds of sushi at Sushi Express and they are all NT$30 a plate, whether it's high-class sashimi, abalone or scallops. Included in Sushi Express'“top sushi” list are Lobster Salad, Roasted Eel and Shrimp Roe. There is an unlimited amount of tea, wasabi and pickled ginger. There is a 10 percent service charge. --By Ann Li, Translated by Teresa Cheng
