      Although similar to the Water Dance Teahouse, Gustation has its own style. Here, soft yellow lighting, large comfortable sofas, and private areas separated by light curtains create an air of romance. Different types of music are in the air--jazz, Bossa Nova--all you need is a cup of coffee in hand or a nice cup of tea for you to completely relax.
This place offers a variety of different set meals and meals for afternoon tea. Its reasonably priced food and high-quality dining has won over a lot of new customers. There are several special dishes on the menu: Cheese and Chicken Steak (NT$280), which uses a whole boneless chicken, is first fried then baked with cheese, leaving the outside crispy and the inside tender; and the Marbled-Beef (NT$380), which has a smooth and not strong beef taste. Customers can also have the Baked Crispy Shrimp (NT$780) and different types of pasta (NT$280)—all have received good reviews. The restaurant also offers different styles of food—Chinese, Japanese, European—such as pizza, side dishes, soup, even congee, and desserts. All of this is served in Western dining fashion, receiving such staples as salad, soup, main course and desserts with each served promptly. Gustation is popular with the office-worker crowd for afternoon tea (Mon to Fri: 2 pm to 5 pm, only), in which you receive your favorite dish, sandwich, cake, salad, or even French fries. The cost is NT$ 199—a good deal. With its excellent service, sincere attitude in serving the customers' needs, Gustation is certain to come out on top in the combination cafe-restaurant competition. There is an evening food/drink combination available from 9:30 pm to 3:00 am, a Business Lunch for NT$ 188 (Mon to Fri), and if you buy a bottle of spirits, you can test your luck in a lucky draw. A cheese-plate is supplied for every bottle of red wine and there is a buy-two-get-one-free special for red wine and whiskey. Wireless internet connections and other services are available.
