A new Japanese BBQ house has opened on ChenDu Road. In charge of the store are the second sister, fifth brother and sixth sister of a close-knit family. The second sister previously lived in Japan for 22 years and has a fine grasp of Japanese cuisine. Because of her strong belief in authentic Japanese food, the seasoning used is personally brought back from Japan. The seafood used hails fresh from Keelung at the northern tip of Taiwan. Reading the packed menu will be enough to make you see stars and wonder what to try. The Peony Shrimp Sashimi is delicious, and a must-try is the NT$30 dish of shrimp heads which the chef can also make into Miso soup. In addition, 339 Degrees serves a variety of Japanese Kebabs which are 2 for NT$80. Also on the menu are house specialties are that very fairly priced, ranging from NT$60 to NT$250. --By Catherine Liu, Translated by Teresa Cheng
