This new Thai restaurant grabs attention, not just because of its stand-out location on the corner of Dadun Road and Dadun 17th Street, but also because of its attractive, appropriately-exotic decor. The warmly lit interior--visible through wrap-around glass windows--includes Thai and Southeast Asian sculptures and art, tropical colors mixed with dark wood, and rattan chairs. There is seating at 11 tables, making it small enough to be intimate. All the traditional Thai favorites are found here, from the sliced beef or chicken in red or green curry (NT$200) to the Sour & Spicy Seafood/Shrimp Soup (Tom Yom Kum) (NT$240). Other house favorites include the Golden Curry Chicken (NT$200), Steamed Sea Bass/Grouper in Lemon Sauce (NT$380), Sour & Spicy Seafood Salad (NT$240), and Northern Thai Pepper-Spiced Chicken (NT$200). There are plenty of other Thai salads, appetizers, rice and noodles, soups, saute dishes, and desserts, such as the famous Momo Chacha (NT$80). For drinks, there is everything from Coconut Juice (NT$100), to Thai Singha Beer (NT$100). The restaurant is on Dadun Road, roughly half-way between the TaichungGang Road and GongYi Road intersections.
