Originally based in Meinong near Kaohsiung, this restaurant is now set up on the second floor of the Zhong Ke Hotel, offering delicious meals in the Hakka style. Beef and chicken dishes are prepared in over 10 different styles-cold plates, fried, seafood, and soups, all presented in the colorful menu. For a traditional Hakka dining experience, the boss recommends the Ginger Stuffed Sausage (Medium- NT$160/Large NT$220) and the Hakka Sauteed Dishes (Medium- NT$160 / Large- NT$220). The looks of these dishes are deceiving, as their taste stands out against other restaurants' food; you have to try them to find out yourself. Other dishes served here include the rare Marinated Chicken and Beef Stew (NT$1,800), which uses ingredients marinated in Chinese herbs for one day. But, in order to enjoy this meal, you must order one day in advance. The ingredients, especially the beef, are prepared and delivered to the restaurant the same day, guaranteeing a fresh taste. Promotions include the economical Four Dishes and One Soup (NT$600). The restaurant also caters to banquets, for which you can get private rooms. They also supply KTV for free.
