VISITOR RATINGS & REVIEWS
Lu Lu Kitchen is exotic, cozy and comfortable with average-priced,
fine European cuisine. Thirty years ago, Owner Lu left the
impoverished countryside in Taoyuan to be an apprentice in
a Taipei hotel where he vowed to make meticulously-prepared
delicacies widely available. From head chef at a five-star
hotel, he became the "keeper" (he labels himself
a "keeper" by providing full customer service) of
Lu Lu Kitchen to realize his mission. Diners have at least
four choices from each category of appetizers, main dishes,
soups, salads and desserts. Lobster Au Gratin, Golden Corn
Chicken Fillet, Grilled Escargot with Pate, and Smoked Salmon
are all fine, tasty dishes without high prices. Afterwards,
relax in a rocking chair under the soft lights with a cup
of floral tea or coffee, and sweet, creamy milk pudding, and
watch the cars outside hurry by.
