         After decades in tea trading, the talented owner, eager for artistic pursuits, decided to turn his residence into a teahouse to meet new friends and to offer people a place for literary exchanges. Everything here, from artwork, sculptures, the arched door, coffee table and lamps to the sink, is designed and made by the owner himself, with some of the pieces recycled from junk. The garden is wonderful for brewing and enjoying a pot of tea. The tea is around NT$250/oz (depends on the variety). Stock your own tea here and pay a cleaning fee of NT$80 per person. Snacks are available: Squid Ball (NT$50), bean curd (NT$50) and, if you are hungry, Beef Noodles (NT$100)--all very satisfying. Business hours often vary, so call ahead of time.
