Bu
Lao Tsun Teahouse
169, Chung De Road, Sec. 3
|
This small,
red-brick teahouse, although tiny, is complete in every way. Although
ordinary-looking on the outside, the interior feels like something
from "Dream of the Red Chamber"--a secluded house with
water flowing under a bridge and fish swimming freely in a pond.
The teahouse has many ox themed items, which symbolize longevity
and gratefulness.
Forget
your troubles with a pot of tea, or alcohol, as this is one of the
few teahouses that offers liquor. Besides tea snacks and cakes,
there are also traditional stir-fry dishes for lunch and dinner:
Snowflake Salmon (NT$300), specialty dish Bitter Melon with Salt
Egg (NT$200), Cantonese desserts, hot pots and set meals. Bu Lao
Tsun is a great place to relax. If you get bored, there are also
checkers and Chinese chess available to pass the time.
