         Since its remodeling about a year ago, Cafe Laurel has focused more on Italian dishes, from pasta to pizza, but also offers Western, Chinese and other selections. The Tea Buffet, from noon to 4:30 p.m., combines lunch and afternoon tea and costs NT$450/weekdays and NT$480/weekends. Dinner (6-9:30 p.m.) is NT$690 and includes a pasta bar, with about seven pastas and four sauces. There is also about 10 hot dishes, roast beef, oysters, salad bar and about a dozen desserts (including homemade ice cream). Attractive ambiance and good service make this a good option for casual and more formal dining.
