       This eagerly-anticipated, famous American chain restaurant indeed lives up to its slogan "Like No Place Else" in Taichung. Located on the ground floor of Tiger City mall, Chili's Taichung branch is the 17th Asian outlet for the Dallas-based company, which operated over 850 outlets globally. Following its well-known reputation elsewhere, the restaurant has a relaxed, all-American feel to it, with colorful signs, friendly and personal service, and large portions of great food. Despite the name, dishes are not necessarily spicy, and include grilled items, wraps, pitas, steaks, salads, sandwiches, desserts and other items, such as Grilled Baby Back Ribs (NT$720), Classic Fajitas (NT$570), Cajun Chicken Sandwich (NT$320), Country-Fried Steak (NT$490), Chipotle Bleu Cheese Bacon Burger (NT$330) and Chocolate Chip Paradise Pie (NT$280). The bar serves the great Margarita Presidente (NT$290) and other margaritas, as well as Boddington's on tap and other beers, soft drinks, wines and hot drinks. Another stand-out feature of Chili's is its "To Go" take-out counter, for diners who want to eat out.
