This enchanting little valley-like hideaway is dotted with trees and flowers, making it seem much more than a restaurant. More than a hundred plum trees fill the landscape, hence the name "Yi Mei Yuan" . Flowers are in full bloom throughout the year, as much thought has been given to the flowering patterns of the different flora of all four seasons. The fine food here includes a wide selection of carefully-prepared, farm-fresh meat dishes (NT$400 to NT$600). All vegetables (NT$80 to NT$240) served in the restaurant are organic and grown in the owners' own backyard. The house special is the Q-plum Pig' s Trotter (NT$280), featuring home-grown plums that provide a perfect complement to the tender, juicy meat. A current hot item with the ladies is the exquisite Almond-Herbal Dessert (large NT$240, small NT$120), which is supposed to be extremely beneficial to keeping a radiant complexion. From Mondays to Fridays, you are entitled to enjoy their invigorating hydro-treatment when you spend more than NT$1,500.
