This small, classy-looking hotel is ideally located on Taichung Kang Road, just meters from the Chao Ma bus stop and a couple blocks from the freeway interchange. Formerly known as Advance Hotel, this place underwent a complete renovation that has left it with 30 spacious rooms--the Deluxe Single (NT$3,200), Deluxe Double (NT$3,600) and VIP Suite (NT$4,500)--which are currently discounted by 40 percent. The lobby area features the upscale Green View Cafe (7 a.m.-midnight) that serves simple Western/Chinese set meals.
