This large, bright new restaurant represents the latest expansion for the decades-old Taichung Steak House and replaces the chain's nearby Shan Hsi Road outlet, which recently closed. Peitun district residents and others will appreciate the extreme number of buffet-style options that up to 850 diners can enjoy here at one time. This includes Mongolian barbecue, teppanyaki, hot pot, ready-made steaks and pork chops, and various buffet counters with salads, soups, desserts and other items. One new addition is a Japanese buffet station, with the usual delicacies. All this is available to diners at lunch for NT$328 per adult and NT$198 per child (90-140 centimeters tall). For dinner, and lunch on national holidays, the cost for adults and kids is NT$488 and NT$218, respectively.
