This restaurant, part of the upscale American chain, is famous for its sizzling U.S. Prime Rib. The beef is from corn-fed cattle and is flown in directly from the U.S. It is quickly broiled at 1800 degrees Fahrenheit and then placed on a 500-degree ceramic plate before serving. The result is a thick sizzling steak that is appealing to the eyes, nose and ears, as well as the tastebuds. Located on the 26th floor, this restaurant provides excellent views of Taichung's main commercial district. The restaurant's elegant atmosphere makes it a great escape from the traffic and noise below. In addition to the U.S. Prime Rib (NT$1,500), there are various New Zealand beef dishes to choose from.
