Every year, Plaza International Hotel develops different ideas for Dragon Festival, including the construction of an over-sized rice dumpling which made it into the Guinness Book of Records. This year, they have regimen and French rice dumplings which are both delicious.A regimen rice dumpling (NT$150), as it's named, has five major grains including pearl barley, brown rice and lotus, and it's a low-fat food. French rice dumplings (NT$250) include French grilled pork leg, naturally dried in order to be more chewy, marinated and mixed with other healthy ingredients. When you eat, remember to add the chef's special sauce, which comes with three choices--olive oil, lemon and French sauce. These foreign-style rice dumplings are guaranteed to provide a special memory and first-time experience.
