For those who love grills, the sound of Shao Jou Fan (grilled meat rice) will definitely make you want to go for a grab.  The smell of grilled meat along Ta Tun road during meal hours, makes one salivate.  Over 10 kinds of set meals are sold here, including grilled drumstick rice, sweet sauce sparerib rice, crispy fried drumstick rice, crispy fried cod rice, grilled meat rice, ge tau rice, all priced between NT$65-85.  Inexpensive, tasty and clean eating environment have attracted working people and families to eat here.  The specialty here is grilled meat rice.  According to the owner, there aren't many grilled meat rice sellers in Taichung, and the good ones are even less.  Ge tau rice, another specialty, done by cooking rice and cabbage together, has an old taste of Taiwan, which most young folks have never tasted before!  Looking for authentic Taiwan food, try Chia Wei.
