The Riverside was a 'What's New' night life feature back in January but now is more than a drinking spot with a full dining menu, launched on February 9.  Simon and his crew offer a variety of items, including roast chicken (NT$300), curry chicken (NT$160), vegetable or beef chili, chicken and cheese burgers (NT$160-180), chicken and beef kebabs (NT$200-230), US steak (NT$350), salads and Western and Chinese snacks, from popcorn to fried tofu.  Most main courses come with rice or baked potato.  Of course, there are the usual variety of beers, cocktails and other drinks.  The Riverside is located along the Huamei canal, just around the corner from Pokuan Road.
