Shang Kang Yi Pin is a small, intimate place to have hot pot with family or a group of friends.  You can choose from a long list of ingredients (costing NT$40-120 per order) such as vegetables (cabbage, potatoes, corn, taro, mushrooms, etc.), dumplings (fish, shrimp, egg, mushroom, etc.) and meatballs, fish balls and mushroom balls, etc., as well as beef, pork, chicken, mutton and seafood.  Or, try the herbal chicken or Kimchee hot pot (for around NT$200). Not everyone in the group has to agree to hot pot.  There are also set meals, such as steamed haddock and tofu, Thai curry beef, pork ribs, chicken (drumstick), and spaghetti, etc.  All of the set meals come with rice, vegetables, soup, and tea or coffee, and range from NT$120-200.The food at this restaurant is excellent, and the owner (from Hong Kong) and his wife are always willing to engage in friendly conversation.  Shang Kang Yi Pin is located on Bokuan Rd., near Chien Hsing Rd., just across from the science museum¡ZÐ>¦ZÈ>s parking lot.
