VISITOR RATINGS & REVIEWS
Those
living and working around Fengyuan now have the opportunity to sample
some great German / Austrian cuisine, thanks to the arrival of Wienerhaus.
This medium-sized restaurant provides a very pleasant, suitably-European
setting, with wooden floors, wooden ceiling beams, wrought-iron
hanging lamps and other nice touches. Dishes include Roasted Pig
Knuckle with Sauerkraut and Mustard (NT$680), Hungarian Goulash
(NT$350) and USDA Prime Rib-Eye Steak (NT$790), to which NT$190
may be added for soup, salad, bread, dessert and drink. There are
also soups, salads and desserts, like Tiramisu and German Cheese
Cake, plus beers (300cc draft Warsteiner for NT$180), good Italian-style
coffees and various wines. To get there from Taichung, take Peitun
Road north to Fengyuan, where it becomes Chungshan Road. Turn right
onto Chungcheng Road and San Feng Road is the next road on the left.
