Koko's is located in what used to be the Kodak Hotel's first-floor lobby bar, and provides diners with an attractive, intimate setting and very good high-end western cuisine for reasonable prices. Semi-buffet meals include a buffet of appetizers, salad bar, fruit and dessert--featuring some great selections--and a choice of soup. A sampling from the menu (lunch and dinner prices are the same) includes Broiled Paillard of Salmon (NT$380), Braised Shank of Lamb (NT$422), 6-oz. US Tenderloin of Beef (NT$480) and Surf & Turf Brochette (NT$480).  What also makes the restaurant nice is the fact it only has about 30 seats, making it a subdued, classy place for a meal. Later in the evening, one can enjoy coffees and teas with a dessert. Parking is available at the hotel or, alternately, Carrefour next door.
