THE GOOD LIFE

Keeping a healthy environment on the go

Words and translated by Audrey Liu

What do you do after you leave the house?

Let's start from your clothes. Remember not to put on clothes within 48 hours of dry cleaning. If you buy new clothes, you must first wash them once or twice before wearing.

Today, most people use at least one cell phone, or have a laptop or tablet computer in hand. These electronic products expose our bodies and brains to electromagnetic radiation. Therefore, avoid using them as much as possible so that you can avoid the harm caused by this form of radiation.

When you've purchased a new car, or first open your car door in the morning, the plastic smell you'll encounter is toxic. Try not to park your car in direct sunshine, because these smells will be stronger after the interior heats up. Every day when you first open the door of your car, remember to open the windows at the same time to ventilate the interior before you get in and drive off.

Most people spend longer hours in the office than they do at home. Therefore, maintaining a healthy working environment is very important. When you arrive at your office, open the windows first and clean your desk and seat with diluted alcohol. If you use a computer every day, cleaning your keyboard and mouse is also very important. Bring enough water from home for a busy day at the office. Otherwise, you need to make sure that there is safe drinking water filtration equipment at work.

Remind yourself about these details every day and share them with family members and friends and you'll definitely go a long way towards enjoying a healthier, more toxin-free life!
