Great Music in Your Own Backyard

Translated by Sho Huang
The popular 2007 Fun Music Festival will once again bring seven genres of music to central Taiwan: classical, pop, jazz, Latin, rock, and traditional. Fresh faces and stars will be on the scene to provide something new for audiences. Since Taichung received first place from a LOHAS (Lifestyles of Health and Sustainability) city competition, this year's festival is continuing the tradition of relaxation, health and adopting a laid-back spirit for the event.
Music without borders
For the "Music Without Borders" celebration, which runs from August 11 to September 29, 50 bands have been invited to perform in eight districts every single Saturday. For these seven weeks, performances will be held in the most accessible spots so that locals can experience diverse music in all kinds of communities.
