What Brought You To Taiwan: 'My father was working in Taiwan and, after getting divorced, married a woman from here.  I came here to meet my Chinese family and decided to stay on.'

Personal Favorite Item I Offer: 'Heineken Beer.  The pizza also rocks.'

Why I Got Into This Business: 'My girlfriend Jennifer worked here for years so I decided to come on.  I wanted to make it better and improve on it.'

Why People Come To My Place: 'It's diverse and offers a variety of entertainment you're not going to see anywhere else, like bands.  It's a good place to socialize and meet everyone else.  The bar is the biggest strength and probably the biggest reason people come here.'

Best Thing About Running A Taichung Cafe: 'It's a challenge to do it better than everyone else, to make things better.  Personally, it's a challenge.'

Worst Thing About Running A Taichung Cafe: 'The business has more control of you than you of it.  The phone is ringing all the time and there are always little problems to take of.'
