OOPS Lounge is the first night club in the NuanZih District and is a new type of pub run by university graduates, featuring a relaxing atmosphere and easy-listening music. A great selection of drinks at affordable prices has attracted many customers since the club opened.

This place is also operated in an unconventional way, with no complicated dance-floor setting and no inappropriate music. Instead, in the tradition of British pubs, they simple provide customers with a good social atmosphere that allows them to get together and have a great time. Apart from that, OOPS Lounge also added some movie elements to its decor, and work with Kaohsiung's Warner Village to sell movie tickets for the special price of NT$190, and host events to give away great prizes. Every Thursday and Sunday is Movie Theme Night, with tickets costing NT$250 per person. Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays are also All-You-Can-Drink Nights at OOPs, costing NT$450 for men and NT$250 for women. Male and female students with ID respectively get in for NT$400 and NT$250.

This style of pub is already changing night club culture in Taiwan. While no one can predict now successful the introduction of movie themes into the nightlife scene will be, it's interesting enough to make you want to check it out for yourself. --By Sakivan, translated by Ann Lee, photos by Sakivan
