If you are looking for something out of the way and out of the ordinary, then try Ma Ma Hu Hu Lounge Bar, located in Fangliao town, about half way between Pingtung City and Kenting. Just take the southbound train to Fangliao town station. Walk out of the station, look across the car park and to your right, and you will see the outside garden setting for this unique lounge bar.

Owners Stan and Rikki will make you feel right at home. With a jungle setting, comfortable seats and a laidback atmosphere you just can't help but enjoy yourself. Having the choice of sitting in the main lounge, outside or in one of two V.I.P. rooms is just the beginning of a good time.

Even a carnivore would enjoy their all-vegetarian menu. Their selection of choices isn't large but they make up for it in taste. Their burger buns are specially made for the restaurant, and the spaghetti is a must. Favorites like fried rice, pizza and various salads round out the list of options. They pull out all the stops for their customers. And don't forget to ask for the Daily Special.

For a beer connoisseur, this is a great place. Stan has over 30 different types of Belgian beers, ranging from 4% to 14% in alcohol content. They've also got an incredible selection of single-malt whiskey, and many others spirits, liqueurs and cocktails.

There've a large projector screen that's always playing a huge variety of music videos and concerts, sure to please everyone. Stan is also involved in setting up music festivals in his local area, with Mystery Land coming up soon this Chinese New Year.
