One of the most well-known restaurants
in Kenting, Warung Didi, has relocated to an alley off
of the main street. Although it might be a little harder
to find, the new location is well-worth the extra effort.
With a larger seating area and more outdoor space for
diners, Didi is still serving up favorites like Beef
Curry, their Signature Fried Chicken, Gong Bao Chicken,
and Vegetables with Coconut Juice.
Warung Didi is as popular as it is for
two main reasons; apart from the public praise they
get because of the delicious food, Didi, the owner,
has a distinctive character and welcomes everyone into
her restaurant. She usually sits right behind the reception
desk, answering phone calls and taking time to chat
with her patrons. Her personal touch adds a bit more
personality to the place. The next time you're in Kenting,
make sure to reserve a table at Didi's—otherwise
it might be too crowded for you to find a seat. --Words
