Are you looking for an up- market, sophisticated dining experience in Pingtung City? The Artist Restaurant is there to suit your needs. It's situated at 37, GongYi Street; just turn off ZhiYou Road onto XinYi Road when heading towards the city's downtown area and it's just on your left. It has a beautiful little garden setting with a waterfall outside, so it's easy to spot.

Open seven days a week for lunch and dinner, it's a good change from your everyday mundane selection of food. With a large variety of European cuisine and a menu in Chinese and English, it caters to both locals and Westerners.

With dishes like Baked Seafood in Pumpkin Shell with Cheese, Grilled Pork Chop with Black Pepper Sauce, Stewed Beef Risotto in Red Wine and so much more, you need not make a hasty decision regarding what to eat. Take your time to make your choice. They also have a nice variety of wines to go with your meal.

As you walk upstairs into the stylish interior, you will notice a refined atmosphere, soft music and friendly staff to seat you and help you with anything you may need. The restaurant has two floors, the first floor being the main dining area. The second floor has a private function room and extra dining area. Artist can seat up to 70 people.
On Saturday and Sunday nights after 7 p.m., the Artist has a live pianist playing great, relaxing, soft music for you to enjoy while you're eating. It is a great change from the sounds of traffic in your ears. So be sure you give yourself a lot of time to sit and relax, savor your meal and enjoy the ambience of this restaurant.
