A new fine dining experience has arrived in Kaohsiung, brought to you by two young and qualified restaurateurs from Germany. Le Mirez has opened its doors to serve clients the best in European foods, with charm and elegance in mind. This place gets an 'A plus' for location. Situated directly on the west side of the Love River, close to the WuFu 4th Road bridge, the views of the water from this two-storey establishment are simply great. The menu upstairs, in the restaurant portion of Le Mirez, features a variety of soups and appetizers (NT$100 - NT$200), main courses (NT$220 - NT$600) and desserts (NT$120 - NT$180). Also available are two set meal options of your choice from each of the four categories for NT$600 - NT$900. Try the sweet carrot soup with a shot of sparkling white wine. Downstairs, the lounge area boasts wide and comfortable seats from which to enjoy the usual variety of bar snacks and a large drink list. Watch out for Gentlemen's Night on Wednesdays.
