Dewusa Lounge, near the corner of CiSian and
JhongHua roads, doubles as a restaurant by day and swanky
lounge by night. The daytime lunch buffet is cheap (NT$150),
but the food selection is limited. The menu choices are much
more interesting (and costly), featuring exotic and rich foods
like sauteed ostrich, champagne bird soup and grilled salt
pig's belly. At night you can return to try their innovative
drinks. Blends like tomato grapefruit with honey, grape and
apple with cream, pineapple and cuke juice come recommended
by the staff, all at NT$220. There is a decent list of imported
beers and quality wines. Befitting the elegant menu, the two-story
lounge is spacious, dimly lit and features theme rooms such
as the angel room and the mystery room (which includes a fortune-teller
on the weekends). Hand-drawn drapes around the tables and
comfortable couches allow you privacy while you eat and visit.
