Tomato Pasta is a new take-out pasta shop
located right next door to My Donut. There's nothing fancy
about this place, but where else in Kaohsiung can you eat
pasta for dinner and donuts for dessert? Twenty-two kinds
of pasta are on the menu, ranging from NT$90 - NT$140. Popular
dishes include the creamy bacon pasta and the standard tomato
and meat variety. Choose from spaghetti or penne noodles or
add NT$20 to transform your pasta into a cheesy casserole.
Soups, desserts, drinks and donuts can also be added to your
dinner for a slight price increase. This writer's advice:
go for the donut. My Donut does a commendable job of providing
a wide variety of donuts. They offer more than thirty different
kinds every day. Cheesecakes, coffee and other baked goods
are also available, and everything is priced under NT$55.
The chocolate cake donut (NT$30) is delicious and worth a
return visit! After 8:00 p.m., if you buy 5 donuts, you get
one free. |
