If you are searching for a quiet and arcadia-like
restaurant, complete with waterfall and stream, visit Mushroom
Kitchen. Surrounded by trees and plants, Mushroom Kitchen
creates a fresh environment, including a backyard boasting
a water pool and fountain. As their name suggests, the dishes
are made from many kinds of mushrooms. These are not Chinese
herbal dishes, so it comes with neither pungent odor nor bitter
taste. Mushroom Kitchen offers good standards of both full-catering
service and elaborate set meals. The set meals range from
NT$399 to NT$799. (Add 10 % service charge.) Try the Black-Boned
Chicken Mushrooms (NT$599), which includes antipasto made
from mushrooms. Other offerings include mushroom broth, a
dish made with 6 different kinds of mushrooms, ribs, pork
and fresh vegetables. Entree dishes range from chicken, shrimp
balls, meatballs and squid balls to amorphophallus (Elephant's
foot). There is also a choice of delicious desserts.
