Recently opened just beyond BoAi
Road off YuCheng Road, lies Royal Castle. Decorated with medieval
paraphernalia, this fine dining restaurant offers an intimate
setting in which to enjoy well-prepared meals. Owner and chef,
Charlie, aims to offer his customers high-class food at decent
prices and is more than willing to cater to requests (including
vegetarian meals).
Main courses range from NT$200
to NT$450, and include choices like King Pork chop with tartar
sauce, Hongroise Chicken and lamb steak. Royal Castle also
serves a set meal, where you add NT$150 to any of the main
courses in order to choose a salad, soup and dessert. Beers
are available from NT$100 and fine wines start from NT$999
per bottle (also available per glass - NT$200). Royal Castle
only has 10 tables, so it is advisable to make reservations,
especially for larger groups or during holidays (English speakers
can ask for Charlie). A 10% service charge is added.
