Located
near National Kaohsiung Normal University, ecoffee is a cozy
place with nice city views through the dustless and almost
panoramic windows. There's space for around 50 customers;
regulars like to cuddle in a corner and read for the whole
afternoon. Now winter is approaching, ecoffee is promoting
its creamy milk tea (hot, up to NT$80; iced, up to NT$70).
The lunch set meals (NT$99) have been selling well, and feature
chewy bagels imported from Canada, submarine sandwiches, cakes,
thick toasts, plus one free drink. Other dishes include spaghetti
(which some Westerners have spoken highly of); all are priced
under NT$200. Many of the chic, handmade adornments were made
by Esther, the friendly and easygoing manager of this branch.
