VISITOR RATINGS & REVIEWS DaJiang
has two characteristics which, given current worries, will appeal
to many Kaohsiung residents: It's very clean, and much of the seating
is open-air. Also, prices at this establishment--which serves traditional
Taiwanese cuisine, and does a thriving trade in take-outs--are undeniably
attractive. The most expensive individual dish is Barbecued Seafood
With Rice (or Noodles), at NT$120. In addition to meat and seafood
meals, there is a wide choice of soups, dumplings, savory baked
items. The food at DaJiang may not be innovative, but it is wholesome,
inexpensive, and tasty. This two-story place is easy to find--just
look for the huge red signboards.--By Steven Crook
