       This well-established restaurant counts Buddhist monks and nuns among its regular customers. The menu lists almost one hundred items--including a vast choice of "fake meat," tofu and vegetables--with English descriptions and color photos for most of them. The interior is fairly up-market and a little formal, but prices are reasonable. The NT$170 combo meal is filling and excellent, consisting of rice, soup, three dishes, plus pudding. There are even cheaper noodle and fried rice dishes (NT$60-70) for solo diners. Don't leave before you've tried the vegetarian desserts.
