The flood of Italian restaurants continues in south Taiwan. Thankfully competition is forcing those new to the business to up the ante. Robi Italian Restaurant saunters into Tainan without much worry and compete with a touch of class minus high prices. A chic interior with fine white linens, strategically placed curtains and lighting soften the room and give Robi a fine atmosphere. A range of Pastas and Risotto dishes are available as set meals for only NT$180 - NT$220. Set meals include bread, soup, salad, main - all delivered with great service and presentation. Pizzas are available as well for NT$160 - NT$200. Refreshments include various teas and coffees, both iced and hot, as well as soft drinks and juice. Drinks may be a bit expensive at NT$60 - NT$130, but this is balanced by the cheap prices for the main dishes. Robi sets a new standard for the slew of pasta houses that have opened in Tainan and is sure to do well. The current menu, which is to be expanded in the future, is available in English and Chinese.
