HNot
much more than 100 meters from Tainan's train and bus stations,
and obviously designed to be a place where people can wait
for trains and buses in comfort, More Cafe offers a wide selection
of reasonably priced meals, snacks, and non-alcoholic drinks.
The interior is bright, colorful, and comfortable. And to
help kill time, there are magazines to browse and several
of the day's newspapers to read. Sandwiches (from NT$55 to
NT$65) come with a choice of breads. More substantial meals
are priced from NT$100 to NT$120 (add NT$35 if you want a
drink); options include beef, pork, chicken, and spaghetti.
If you want something lighter, there are four different salads,
and just as many toasted snacks. Between 7 am and 10 am, a
special breakfast menu is available. Beverages start at NT$35;
the menu lists almost fifty different teas, coffees, and ice
slushes. --By Steven Crook, translated by Iva Huang
